Girls Adventures in Math, Engineering, and Science (G.A.M.E.S.) Camp is a week long camp
designed to introduce girls to exciting opportunities in engineering and science through hands-on activities.  I designed and taught a course in the Structural Engineering Camp for 8th graders in the summer of 2011.  My course focused on the relationship between structures and biomechanics to show how basic engineering principles could be applied to motion and forces experienced by the body.
